Hi, I’m Danielle Baker.
Born and raised in Laguna Beach by bohemian entrepreneurs and a Native American gallerist, I was immersed in art, design, and cultural storytelling from an early age. My formative years were shaped by the layered warmth of handwoven textiles, collected objects, and richly textured interiors — an atmosphere that continues to inform my aesthetic sensibility today.
With over twenty-five years in the creative field, I have cultivated a thoughtful, intuitive approach to design that prioritizes both beauty and emotional resonance. I believe exceptional spaces do more than reflect style — they evoke feeling, memory, and a sense of belonging.
My career has spanned a uniquely diverse range of roles within the design and lifestyle industries. Most recently, I served as Lead Designer for Giannetti Home under Steve and Brooke Giannetti of Patina Farm lore, where timeless restraint and narrative-driven design defined my work. Previously, I held the position of Project Manager for a premier Southern California custom home builder, guiding complex residential projects from concept through completion. Earlier chapters of my career as a wedding coordinator and florist further refined my sensitivity to composition, scale, color, and emotional storytelling — disciplines that continue to influence my approach to interior environments.
Rather than imposing a singular point of view, my work is rooted in collaboration. The most enduring interiors emerge when a client’s personal narrative is carefully interpreted and elevated, allowing their individuality to quietly guide the design. Through these partnerships, I have created environments ranging from storied farmhouses and art-filled mountain retreats to refined coastal cottages and contemporary sanctuaries.

My Approach
When I begin working with a new client, my first priority is simply getting to know them — how they live, what they love, and what makes them feel most at home. I believe the best spaces are created through genuine collaboration, where ideas are shared openly and thoughtfully. My role is to translate those conversations into environments that feel layered, comfortable, and quietly beautiful. Together, we shape a home that reflects not only a client’s personal style, but also the life and memories they hope to build within it.

This is where the vision becomes real. I coordinate with builders, artisans, and trades to ensure every detail is executed with care and clarity. Through thoughtful planning, communication, and oversight, the design is translated into a finished space that feels seamless, intentional, and true to the original vision.
