Garden House
This project centered on the thoughtful renovation of a 120-year-old farmhouse set on a one-acre property in Santa Monica, honoring its historic character while reimagining it for modern living. The original structure was carefully restored and expanded, allowing the home to grow organically while preserving its intimate scale and architectural soul. A new barn structure was introduced to complement the main residence, along with a sensitive addition to an existing cottage, creating a cohesive family of buildings across the property. The result is a layered, timeless compound that blends history, functionality, and quiet elegance within a distinctly Southern California landscape.
